Human Record, aka Luke Stapleton is a professional human beatbox artist from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He astonishes crowds by using his lips, tongue, throat and nose to make percussion sounds that come from him and only him.
Human Record is a graduate of Etobicoke School of the Arts music program. He also studied at Harris Institute of the Arts where he successfully achieved his diploma from the Producing/Engineering program. While growing up on stage in a show biz family he learned to play several instruments which has given him the further knowledge to expand his talents. Human Record is a phenomenally versatile performer who astounds and cracks up audiences by playing the KAZOO with his nose while beatboxing all at the same time. His original beatboxing sounds have captured audiences everywhere and has inspired him to be ultimately more creative.
Human Record has performed internationally in CANADA, USA, CHINA, MEXICO and the CARIBBEAN ISLANDS. Beatboxing highlights include WINNING Best Live in the Urban Category at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, a long standing beatbox commercial on MUCH VIBE, and a promotional commercial with Amanda Marshall on MUCH MUSIC. He has performed at Nathan Phillips Square for the Manifesto, and at the Harbourfront on the Toronto Star Stage. He has been on Rogers TV, City Pulse News, CHCH Hamilton, 89.5 CIUT-FM and much more.
